why do you have bkt tires on the front and trelleborgs on the rear?!?

@deJong i bought them used from a 828 vario and the front wheels were to small so i had to get a new set and the new trelleborg wheels where pretty expensive.but i like the bkt, they are working good for my use 😄

@Erik307 we've got new bkt's on the front of our 514, first i was bit skeptic about them but it are good tires. they dont zoom and bump while driving and dont wear off as fast as michelins do. And coulndt feel any difference.

@deJong yeah they are pretty good, i have very little road driving so my wheels last very long 😄

@MF7622 I dont remeber the make of them but i can check it for you tomorrow 😄 i bought them at a local dealer cheap cause he wanted me to test them out for him 😄 i have seen alot of them on ebay also

@Erik307 i've to pass a bridge and drive 2 to 4 km everytime i want to go to our land... thats one of the reasons why we got a 145 hp tractor and milk just 60 cows... ????

A oké dan ga ik ook experimenteren met bandenspanning, alleen moet er bij mij 700 kg voorin. Maar 514 rijden is geen straf toch 😄

@fendt308-driver beste machine alleen huren we nu t meeste materiaal opdat alles thuis verder te licht is voor die dikke brulbuffel.

@deJong In my area 60 cows is pretty big, hard to get enough good ground to plant grass and so on. Some farmers drive up to 20 km to some of their fields far away. Alot of land leasing from farms that are closed down also

@Erik307 oh well seems pretty hard to be a farmer there Then. Also winter time last long there i guess so you need to have a lot of bale/silage to make it through then. Are there any self loading silage wagons being used there?!?

@deJong yeah its getting more and more of them but they get a bit heavy when they get filled with grass so its not possible to use them in all fields

@Erik307 is that because the fields are to steep? And i think bales are more practical bcuz when you need to drive long distances making silage with a self loader takes too much time... you can pick ur bales up a pfew days or weeks later (if they didnt roll away????)

@deJong Steep fields, usually very wet conditions. A baler is nice cause it dosent get that much heavier when it picks up grass 😄
